Pet Art Commissions

Uniquely special with attention to detail.

Working with a client provided photo, I use my own unique artistic method to create a one of a kind work of art that brings your pet to life. My portraits are made digitally and are the perfect gift or memorial piece. I can deliver portraits digitally, print them on high-quality photo paper, or produce a uniquely vibrant metal print.

My artwork is made with careful consideration to the subject matter.

When creating your piece, I am physically sketching with my pens, considering every feather, fur stroke, and sparkle in the eyes, and bringing them together in a whimsical, abstract way. My art is high-resolution, giving you the ability to have it printed as large or as small as you desire.

Your photo, turned into artwork.

    1. Light is KEY! Photography is all about lighting. Photos are best taken in the morning or evening, when the sun is not shining so brightly. If your photo is too light, I will have a difficult time pulling details out of the white portions. It’s also important that the photo isn’t too dark. Photos taken in the dark can look grainy and begin to lose details.

    2. Pay attention to perspective. For the most natural looking portraits, you’ll want to get down on your pet’s level. It’s totally the norm around here to se me crawling through the grass to video rabbits and chickens!

    3. Focus on the details. Make sure your pet’s facial features are clearly visible, particularly the eyes - they are the soul of your pet and your future portrait of them.

    4. Avoid cropping out details. Try not to cut off any part of the facial features, ears, eyes, or nose. Objects can also obstruct details - tree limbs, leaves, toys, etc. should not be covering your pet’s face on the photo.

    5. Size is important. To capture the absolute most detail, your pet’s face should be in the center stage of the photo and as large as possible.

Logo COmmissions

Branding for your hobby or small business

I love creating custom logo designs for farms, homesteads, rabbitries, aviaries, and more! You provide the vision, and I will bring it together in a logo that is unique to your brand. My logo designs are completely vector based, meaning you can print as large or as small as you’d like without losing quality.

What can you expect…

Logo designs are comprised of custom artwork and typography. After a logo commission is approved by the client, the logo is outlined and delivered in a ZIP file via email. In most situations, there will be six files within the ZIP file - Color, black, and white, with each version supplied in both SVG and PNG format. I can include other file formats as requested.

  • PNG is short for Portable Network Graphic, a type of raster image file. PNG’s can handle graphics with transparent or semi-transparent backgrounds. PNG files can handle 16 million colors, making them one of the most vibrant file formats to use.

  • Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a web-friendly vector file format. SVG’s can be significantly resized without losing any of their quality, which makes them ideal for logos and complex online graphics.
